DJI Phantom 3 Advanced Troubleshooting
Background Information
The DJI Phantom 3 Advanced is a quadcopter designed for taking high quality, aerial photos and videos. It was released in April 2015, along with the DJI Phantom 3 Professional. It features a gimbal-mounted HD camera capable of taking up to 2.7k video and images up to 12.4 MP. It’s onboard GPS assists RC hobbyists in taking very stable and smooth images.
The Phantom 3 advanced can be identified by its white plastic shell, typical of DJI quadcopters. This model measures 590mm across diagonally, and features silver stripes on each of the booms. It has an auto-leveling camera mount (also known as a gimbal) under the main airframe. Behind the gimbal, there is also a vision positioning system mounted under the body.
