JLR (sometimes called LRJ) vehicles usually need to be cleared with a scan tool, like every other Euro car. Unless you are doing advanced work on your own except some repairs and your own maintenance a scanner like this will be sufficient to clear it: https://www.amazon.com/5610-Bidirectiona.... Anything from Europe is infamous for needing a scan tool to do a basic reset - even the battery on BMWs. It's insane, but it's also a rather known thing with them.
