the light does not turn on , but everything else work fine when i put the game and is only the light tanks

You could follow this guide to remove your light panel. the problem will be to get a new one. It is not a simple light bulb....but give it a try and let us know how it is going. Good Luck

if that happen with water damage try to dry it by disassemble it and dry it us the heat gun and assemble it again ,if not it is hard wear damage with one of screen boost coil

I got some pcs of the LED Front light for my game boys series and changed the back light into a front light, it was a great job.
you can get the front lights here and DIY your game boys.It's too much fun.

i usually put in a new screen with a good working light these 001 ags are very difficult to fix i have ruined screens just trying to remove dust the 101 screen is way better in my opinion i have a broken screen with a good light bulb if anybody wants it
