Battery appears to have 4 separate cells
2x2 in parallel. I can measure 5v from charger on a transistor close to battery connection but cannot measure voltage across the battery . The battery seems to have it's own small circuit which I assume is used to control the charging.
My guess it wants to charge both pairs of parallel battery banks and then connects both banks on series when charged
Any comments or is battery just faulty

I have a new tablet whose camera isn’t working (Camera not recognized; error code: 0xa00F4244). I have downloaded the right driver from HP site but I still can’t see it listed as can’t find the camera in Device Manager. Tried using Driver Easy and Driverpack but no success. What could be wrong?

I’m having a strange issue with the touch screen, and I’ve tried to figure out if it is the ribbon conenctions behind the display but they all appear to be seated properly, then I checked the single ribbon cable going from the motherboard to the display and reseated that also.
So far about half an inch from the top from left to right there is no touch reconized … It was rather annoying when I discovered I couldn’t close programs with the touch screen — which was when i first noticed it.
If anyone else has this issue I’m going to try and do some driver updates and see if that changes and i’ll note it down here.

Have you managed to solve the issue with top of your touch screen not working? I have recently encountered same problem
Amir Memic -
Amir - Hopefully I'm replying right, as I've never replied in iFixit before and I'm only able to reply to my own comment.
I have not been able to fix it yet, I'm eventually going to replace the entire screen as I cannot figure out what could be causing it.
If you find out what is causing your issue please reply with it as I'm honestly not wanting to spend aprox $200 for a screen assembly if I can resolve it with a cable for example.

I used your suggestion of holding down power button for 30 second and this has lead to my tablet to lock the disk and showing me a bitlocker window. What do I do now ?
