Before you begin, make sure that the gun is unloaded.

Always be aware of where the muzzle is pointed. Never point the gun at anything that you do not intend to shoot, even if the gun is unloaded.

Muzzle: The end of the barrel.

Barrel: A long metal tube on the top side of the gun. It is where the shot from the shell travels to the muzzle.
