Slide the vertical battery lock switch downwards to the image of the unlocked padlock.

Now you can move the horizontal battery lock switch to the right.

You need to apply some pressure to fully move over the switch. At the hardest part, the battery drawer will spring open.

Now you can remove the battery block completely.

By doing this, the horizontal switchlock will jump back to its original position on the left side.
