Measuring the area where you want your new holder to go, mark two lines 6.8" apart.

Measure an inch and a third (1 and 1/3") above the marks and mark these new spots where your screws will go.

While marking where you want to place the new holder, use a leveling tool to make sure that the toilet paper will be sitting flat.
