Hold the thin plastic modem cover out of the way and, with your fingers, gently pry up the left edge of the planar.

Gently pull up on the right side of the planar.

Remove the planar slowly so you can see how the PC speaker is sitting underneath. Only the planar holds it in place against the keyboard driver board. See the reference image for the orientation of the cable and position of the rubber speaker bracket.
