Background and Identification
The Philips ll Senseo HD7810 is a coffee pod machine first released in 2006 by the Dutch Company, Philips. Senseo is a registered trademark under the Dutch company Philips for a coffee brewing system. Its signature feature is its coffee pods used to brew coffee.
For models made in Poland from July 2006 to November 2008 and for units made in China from July 2007 to November 2008, Philips has identified a safety problem and recalled these models, offering replacements for consumers. In the HD7810, the built-up calcification from the use of hard or medium water when combined with an external electrical fault, can lead to obstruction of the overpressure release system causing boilers to suddenly separate, potentially leading to injury.
