Troubleshooting
Find help for common issues with the JBL Go 2 Speaker here and here.
Background
The JBL Go 2 is a mini speaker. The JBL Go 2 speaker (model: number JBLGO2:(color) such as JBLGO2:RED) was released in Spring 2018 and is a portable, waterproof mini speaker that was designed for portability. This speaker is compact and rounded, only weighing 144 grams, and comes in up to 12 distinct colors and patterns.
The JBL Go 2 includes many important features, including the waterproof capability. This can also cause issues for the speaker, as it is only rated for 30 minutes of water exposure up to 1 meter in depth. Because of this, many device issues stem from the exposure to water not rated for the JBL Go 2. These include internal driver issues, speaker grille issues, battery life and battery replacement issues. However, these issues come easy to fix, as most problems within the speaker can be accessed through the speaker grille.
Identification
The JBL Go 2 is a lightweight, rectangular, and compact portable Bluetooth speaker. Some features it has are a large JBL logo on the front grille and a large JBL logo engraved on the back, five buttons at the to which include the power, Bluetooth, volume up/down, and play/pause. There is a flap on the slide that protects the charging port and auxiliary input.
