I have a specialist screwdriver kit which I used to open an old MacBook. I want to replace the battery in my iPod 6th thin so I am going to buy the iFixit Opening Tool. Do I need anything other tools for this repair and maybe an SSD upgrade in future?

Here's the ifixit iPod 6th Generation repair guide that may help.
Click on the battery replacement guide and the when in that guide, click in Show more in the What you need - Parts box on the right side of the page, to see what tools you need.
There's also a HDD replacement guide as well.
