More than two weeks ago, my father had his display replaced because his phone fell and broke the display, but since they replaced the display, he went back to the service centre because the display does not respond correctly to commands. Sometimes it does its own thing. I thought it was a dirty display, but cleaning it does not solve the problem.

@piero90 that sounds very much like a bad touchscreen/LCD assembly. Since this happened right form the beginning I would strongly suggest that your dad has the service center replace it once more with a proper replacement. This will not get better on it's own, there are no calibrations or adjustments.

@piero90 sorry to hear this, but something like "Sometimes it does its own thing." is pretty much a sign of a bad display assembly. Let's see if there are other answers that come up with a different idea.
My father went to the service centre for the third time to have the display replaced, but the problem persists, so I assume it is a logic board issue.
