I am experiencing a faulty operation with my windshield wipers. They exhibit inconsistent behavior, frequently maintaining the same operational speed regardless of the lever setting. Furthermore, the wipers often park improperly (stopping mid-cycle) and continue to run after the system has been deactivated. What could be the most likely problem?

@martinsand10804 that sounds like an issue with the windshield wiper motor. I remember there where issues with the circuit board on those motors. I would try and replace that first. We will need to know the exact year and model of your Pickup.
