Do you mean the monitor's Power light or the screen?
If you mean the screen, can you view the monitor's OSD (ON Screen Display) menus OK?
What is the make and model number of the PC or the motherboard's make and model number if a custom build?

@taleemansari have you tried to connect it to a different computer (just to rule the current one out)? If so, did it work? Does the monitors power LED turn on? You have checked the video and power cable to make sure there is no external damage and that they are plugged in right?
