@silasgomes you didn't tell us the make and model for your Laptop. The shutdowns can also be software related. If you run Windows, we would need to know which version. All of them have a Windows Event Log. Open the latest one up and see what Windows reports. You can post a screenshot of that with your question
You want to get yourself a free hardware monitoring software (like HWMONITOR) and install that. Then monitor your temperatures to see if your computer gets to hot and if that is the reason for the shutdown. Also, you said you checked the memory modules. I would run with either different modules or if you have more then one, remove one at the time and run it. See if that keeps your computer running. If so , you know that one module is bad.
Intermittent problems like yours hare the hardest to reproduce and the hardest to troubleshoot. It will take time to figure it out.
