I want to know how to open this machine, how to upgrade the storage and the ram, and if anybody has any recommendations for 16gb ram (1 stick) and 1tb ssd that fits in this machine,

Here's the hardware maintenance manual for the laptop.
Go to p.36 to view the procedure to remove/replace the memory modules.
Go to p.29 to view the start of the procedure to remove/replace the SSD.
Recommendations for specific make and model of components are too subjective and are generally frowned upon on this website as it can lead to too much unwanted spam being posted.
In saying that here's a supplier that is useful as it shows the specifications of the memory and the SSDs that can be used in the laptop i.e. it supports up to 64GB of memory i.e. 2 x 32GB DDR5 5600 (PC-44800) sodimm modules and up to 4TB M.2 2280 SSD and also gives an idea of the possible cost of the parts. Use this information to find suppliers that suit you best.
