Brother HL-3140CW No Paper Error

I have a Brother HL-3140CW. The tray is full of paper, but when i try to print from that tray, the printer panel shows "No Paper". It doesn't jam, it just doesn't feed. When I feed from the manual feed tray, the printer works fine. I have cleaned all the pick up rollers for that tray, but no luck. i have come accross this video with the same problem, but it is for a different printer model and the mechanism is different:

Does anyone have a solution for my printer model or any other suggestions?

Go to setting and see if the tray feeder is selected where the paper is. also you can choose different tray where printer can pick up your paper in setting on you computer.

Hi Shahil. Thank you for the suggestion, but it is not the issue. The correct tray is selected in the print settings.

@franc30948 printers are just a totally different beast to fix. Just like anything else, use a systematic approach. So start with this flowchart

Now, to actually work on it and to narrow it down, You can download the SM from the bottom of this page Brother HL-3140CW

While you work on your printer, take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit. That will help the next person that has the same problem as you do. It's easy and fun to create these guides. https://ifixit.com/Guide/new The iFixit community will appreciate this.
