My Yamaha Amplifier does not give out sound?

My Yamaha amplifier RX-V1500 there's no sound coming out of the speakers, what could be the cause?

Hi @uriah8804,

Have you checked if the "mute" indicator is blinking on the display panel?

Have you tried connecting a different audio signal source e.g. dvd player, TV, record player etc to prove whether the problem is in the amp or the signal source (or cables) or even the type of signal e.g digital or analogue?

What have you tried?
