To add to the above, we need a picture of the issue but if its really thin, maybe single pixel wide, lines that are (from what I've seen personally) usually green, red, or black - its likely that strip of pixels failing or physical damage. Which isn't often repairable without replacement of the LCD screen itself as far as I know, unfortunately.
Can't help diagnose without a picture though.
