How to fix a black screen?
I dropped my phone and the screen is black now but I can still hear all of my notifications

Joshua Keller "dropped my phone and the screen is black now" means you have a broken display. Time to change it. Use something like this video to replace your display. Replacement screens are available at multiple places.
Since iFixit does not have a guide for this, I would suggest you take lots of pictures, and then create a guide for us. That will help the next person that may have the same issue with their phone. https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/new
