Solução escolhida

Hi

I had this exact issue when I was dealing with a 13inch MacBook Pro and is really easy of fix and doesn’t take that long!

What you have to do is open it up and go up to step 13 on the guide linked below! But instead of taking the screws out you loosen them and move your display into its place until you are happy with it:-)

MacBook Pro 15" Retina Display Mid 2012 Display Assembly Replacement

If you need any help in the process just ask :-)

Hopefully this helps

Thanks:-)

thank you so much! that worked perfectly, also it has a bit of a loose hinge but the screws inside were tight, is there any way to fix that? i think theres some screws in the clutch that need tightening but idk how to get that off without damaging it.

@danby

If you follow this guide here

MacBook Pro 15" Retina Display Mid 2012 LCD Kabel Replacement

Up til step18 you can tighten them there but do it on both sides

I also recommend using blue loctite on the screw threads as it stops them from coming loose again

If you use loctite don’t use the red stuff as that’s permanent use blue because it’s replaceable;-)

If you need any help just ask:-)

Thanks:-)

@hellomacos hi i cant seem to get the clutch cover off ive looked at videos that show that its quite easy to get the clutch cover off but mine seems quite tight and wont budge

@danby

I had the same issue

You need to slide it to the side

And if you have already done that,it might need some persuasion but it will go

I know this seems like a “mixed message” but you don’t want to be too rough with it but you need to give it a fair nudge to get it off:-)
