On my Dell Latitude E6230, the Battery LED is blinking and will no longer run on a battery. I have two battery packs so I doubt both are bad. I have followed the online Dell Support suggestions to resolve this but no such luck. Is there any way to resolve this with a hardware repair - i.e. bad diode?

Just to eliminate the batteries, try creating a Win 10 battery report.
Compare the Design capacity versus the Full charge capacity.
What is the motherboard’s model number printed on the motherboard itself?
Knowing this will help to find the schematics for the board, hopefully making it easier to find the problem.
