How do I get this working
my dell isn’t starting up i think it is the battery that doesn’t make it start

If you doubt it’s the battery interfered the computer's startup process. Try removing the battery to run the laptop from just the AC power. If it works, you may have a defective battery that needs replacing.
If nothing fixed the problem, this indicates that the problem may be on other components of the laptop, at least you can do some basic troublshooting.

Hi @xxthenottakenxx ,
Does it start with the charger connected to it, you didn't say?
What lights are showing when the charger is connected or when you try to start it and are they flashing or steady?
