It just displays the BIOS and does not boot.

Upon powering on, the logo shows up and then will display the BIOS. I can see the System time and date is correct. When I restart the same thing happens. Anyone who has any idea about this problem?

Can you enter BIOS and check if the HDD is being detected?

What OS is installed in the laptop?

@mgm_wapack , @jayeff is on the right track. If you cannot boot through BIOS, either the drive is not detected or the OS is not installed. Did you recently upgrade your hard drive? If the BIOS does not detect the OS, some BIOSs let you manually override which drive you can boot from.
