Hi,
so I recently changed my back shell of my iPhone and did it in a bit of a rush so messed up a few things… the flash no longer works and the switch on the side of the phone doesn’t work. Any ideas? The only thing I know I did wrong was the plastic part in the top left of the iPhone I damaged but I don’t know what that part is to order a new one!

You may have damaged the Power Button/Flash Flex. Take a look at this guide to find it and do a thorough visual inspection of the flex, especially along the bends. Look for tears, even the slightest bit and replace as necessary.

thanks, but could you tell me what the part does thats a black box at the top left of an iPhone 7 plus
The flex has the power button, flash and rear microphone.
