Why does my On and off switch turns off during brewing?

@kaejams it is possible that this is a bad switch but more likely is that it has issues with the thermal fuse or thermistor. we would have to see the board and components to check on those. Use these guides Cuisinart DCC-1200 to work on it. Post some good images of everything you find with your question. That way we get to see what you see Adicionar imagens a uma pergunta já existente

Have same problem on model DCC-1200. Found a solution and it has worked 100% since. Use the Auto Off function. Turn knob to Auto Off. I set it to 3 hours. Then turn knob back to Brew. So far it hasn’t shut off once. Who knows how long this will last. Obviously there is some malfunction cause it worked OK for several years.
Like the appliance when it works. Don’t want to buy another one based on reviews saying new ones have multiple problems. Sad they can’t select quality components and make one that lasts.
