I’ve never tried but that flex cable may be repairable by an experienced micro-solderer. Personally, I wouldn’t do it on a No Fix/No Fee basis but it’s certainly worth a shot even if somebody did charge you a fee up front.
Otherwise, you’ll have to go to Apple to have it replaced.

Compared to the Mesa fix should be easy as drinking a glass of fresh water :)
