I’m trying to order a battery for my Moto Z, and I’m not sure what model I have. The model number says xt1650.0
All the model numbers on the store page end with a -x, ie: xt1650-1, xt1650-2, etc… I’ve searched the web and couldn’t find any reference at all to my model number, everything I’ve found there also ends with a -x.
Any help would be appreciated.

Did you check in Settings > About phone to see what information is there regarding the model number?

Yes, the model number under settings is xt1650.0
I can't find a match to that model number.

Perhaps this is the battery that you need. Besides the other models listed, it states that it is suitable for a XT 1650 which may translate as a XT1650 -0
The only sure way to know, if you have to replace it anyway, is to open the phone and check the model number stamped on the battery.

I was hoping to have the battery in hand before I pry the phone apart, as it's the only working phone I have, and it's mission critical. I really should have a backup.
Well, it is what it is. It's gotten to the point where I can't even take it off the charger so I'll just have to open it up and see what battery I need to order.
