Camera will not take picture
dropped on hardwood floor while off. now, will power up but will not snap picture or zoom. wheel that changes camera mode works.

jim card, check for the service manual here http://www.scribd.com/doc/33219078/Panas... Chapter 6 tells you how to get into the service mode and how to list the errors on your camera. That might be a good place to start fault finding The manual also shows the ribbon cables etc. This site only lets you watch the manual but you have to have a site on one of the social networking sites to download.Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX01 has the individual repair manuals once you know what needs to be fixed/repaired.
