Touch screen doesnt work after repair

I just repaired my iPhone 5 and the touch screen doesn't work, I've tried reconnecting it but that didn't work, is there a way to find out if the replacement is faulty or if i did something wrong

Update (05/12/2017)

just put the old one on and it works fine. i put the new one on again and it works fine at 90 degrees but when i put it in the phone it has trouble swiping and other issues

Re-install your old screen (assuming it was cracked but functional). If the old one works, then you likely have a bad replacement screen.

Its a common issue for iPhone OEM replacement screens to have touch faults similar to this.

I would first try testing all your connector to ensure that they are all in correctly then try again. If this doesnt work then you will need to order a new screen

I find out that also trying to force the screen in causes this too.

Op have you made sure that the corners (dents) or edges of the iPhone housing aren't obstructing the screen from fitting in any way?

This greatly reduced the amount of screens that ended up faulty with ghost touch / touch dead spots.

Unfortunately when the screen starts doing this it ends up needing to be replaced with another screen. Sometimes it can be fixed by fixing up the housing to let the screen sit flat.
