Cam sensor location no spark issue

I have been trying to get this car going for about a year.told that the cam sensor is gone and need to replace it.now I'm no expert but I do know that I have watched a few videos on YouTube and where they show the cam sensor to be at it isn't..Then told that it's apart of the distributer shaft.!!!!! So if that's the cam where's the Crank shaft sensor? I ts a no spark issue

@lowvisions , Patrick , On the 2.2l engine, crank position sensor is behind the crank shaft pulley/balancer. Picture below(crank sensor circled). For the V6 3.0l almost same position, see video link. Good luck. I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button.

On the 2.2 do u have to take the timing cover off to get to the sensor

We have a 1996 Camry LE 2.2L 4 Cylinder... I have bought the crankshaft position sensor, I just dont know where the heck to install it, where is the old one? Anyone know? I searched it up on youtube but i could not find anything. I hope someone can help

Hi for all Ihave toyota corolla 1993there’s no cranck shaft sensor but there's acumshaft sensor biultin within the main distributor shaft making signale to the ECU of the car

Well I have remove my 2.0 l and installed a 2.2 l engine , and the car didn't use a distributor , it uses coil which depend on a crankshaft sensor
