Where to get good batteries?

Hello everyone,

I own an phone repair store(mostly iphone) and in the last month i am having big trouble to find good iphone batteries. I tried batteries from 6 to 19 $. All the new batteries drop very fast. Is there any way to test the battery when you install them in the iphone?

When i replace a battery i let the phone for 30 min and check if the percentage is falling. Now i tried 3 batteries and all are falling 2-3 % in 20 min(phone is just open, i dont use it). Is it because the battery is new and need to be reffiled some times or where is the problem?

How do you test your battery replacement? Is there any good way.

Hope someone can help me.

In general, batteries are terrible. I wouldn't be surprised if the cells were used and repackaged with a new gas gauge.

That said, iFixit has very good batteries and the warranty can't be beat. That's where I source mine now.

That would explain why I had a client come back one time saying the battery life was worse than the one he had before for an iPhone 6.

I think I will avoid getting an iPhone 6 battery from a certain local supplier for now on.

Hmm, thanks but for that price iphone 6 (35€+ shipping on IFIXIT) i wouldnt make any money. I still think there are some good suppliers..

No doubt. But then you will have to trial and error. If you are a shop, have signed-up for iFixit Pro? You will get access to wholesale pricing and tremendous customer support.
