Phone will not turn on

This morning I checked my phone and fell back asleep, only to wake up an hour later with the phone underneath me. It was warm, and has been unresponsive ever since. Charging it with different cables doesn't work, there's nothing obviously wrong with the charging port, and I tried to do a hard reset by holding the volume button down and the power button down at the same time. Still nothing. The phone is completely unresponsive.

I think your phone was overheated , and since you charged it with different cables maybe it got worse .

I think you should go to a shop for them to fix your phone befour it's too late to backup

Ah $@$*, well i did all this once it was cooled down, so does that make a difference? Also before hand i had pressed the power button repeatedly and the screen flashed on for a split second.

Andrew, It sounds like the phone overheated. If there is no charging indicator light when the phone is plugged in, the problem is either a connection from charging port to the battery, a bad battery, or a fried motherboard. Check out the LG Tribute Troubleshooting page.
