I have tried twisting where the unlock sign is, but it doesn't seem to be able to come apart. I think something is keeping it from unlocking all the way. Can someone help?

Unfortunately, you have to take off the clear dasher before you can completely disassemble the machine. To do this, twist the piece to the left until it comes apart from the machine. Once this is removed, you should be able to take the upper housing and lower housing apart with ease.
