I have purchased a new cover for the battery compartment for my Kodak C913. I can't figure out how to take off the broken one to replace it. I'm afraid of breaking more of the plastic if I force something.

Pauline, take a look at this guide. Once you remove the case, you can see the pin that holds the battery door in place. Make note of how the spring attaches, take pictures :-) remove the pin with a paper clip or other small instrument and replace the door. Hope this helps, good luck.

Hi! I am having no luck getting the batttery cover open. It is stuck tight, or I’m just not smart enough to figure out how it works. I did take the back cover off, and can see the pin that holds it on, but have no idea how to get it out of there to get the cover off. It looks like the cover needs to slide some to release the latch, but I can’t get it to slide at all.
Can you help?
