Do not allow battery corrosion to come into contact with your skin or eyes.

Sometimes, batteries or the terminals they come into contact with can become corroded. Corrosion will appear as chalky-white or green.

If the compartment is not clean--coated with debris or corroded--use a cotton swab to carefully remove debris or corrosion from the terminal corrosion.
