Remove the ribbon connector for the front facing camera using the plastic opening tool. Once you have done this, you can lift out the front facing camera with the ribbon connector.

The ribbon connector is held down with some glue, so peel it off slowly to avoid damaging it.

You have now successfully removed the front facing camera.
