Take the twist tie (about 3cm long, minimum 1.5cm) and remove the plastic or paper enclosing.

Bend it as shown so that it will fit in the white plastic transmission part.

Put the wire inside the white plastic part, and shift it on the motor end. While it was loose before, it should now require a little force to put it on. When turning the white transmission part, the motor should go along now.

Cut of the remaining ends of twist tie wire. (I didn't do this at first, then the blender started making some noise because the wire was touching plastic parts when turned on.)

If it's still loose, you may add another wire at an angle of 90 degrees. I don't expect you'll need this, though.
