Loosen the top side of the armrest, so it can move if necessary

With a decent amount of force, pull the armrest parallel to the screws.

The armrest should slide down of the two axis (where the screws where)

The lower axis is that holds the armrest mostly in place, so to prevent braking the plastic armrest, apply the force as close to the bottom screws axis as possible!
