Generously apply the 99% isopropyl alcohol to your microfiber cloth.

Make sure that the thermal paste is completely wiped away and that the processor is dry

Apply a small pea sized amount of thermal paste to the processor.

Ensure that when you’re wiping away the old thermal paste that none of it falls onto the motherboard beneath it.
