Remove the motor and replace it with the new part.
Very helpful and systematic. Thought I needed a new motor. Turns out all I needed was a cleaning and some WD40
Any links or pointers where to get this replacement motor? I’m looking to replace 120v with 240v any thoughts ?
The fan you are replacing is NOT the same as what I own. Mine is a model HV180. It looks similar but is 19" OD and has a 2part housing that looks to be a bare to open. Looks best to cut the little wire angles off and replace the motor. To reassemble put it together with zip ties and then use a mig welder to make it firmer and safer for a longer life!!

What is the motor parts details to procure elsewhere?
Hi informative guide but first how do we get the new motor how do you remove the blade nut to remove the blade from the old motor shaft
Given the difficulty of finding a replacement motor with three speeds and the correct mounting configuration, it makes more sense to buy a new model of this fan. Much faster, too.
