The RCX 1.0 is the first model in the RCX line of Lego Mindstorms programmable bricks. It was succeeded by the RCX 1.5 and RCX 2.0, which lacked the power connector for a wall wart power supply. The RCX is programmed by a computer and an infrared tower which transmits the program to the RCX.
