Background and Identification
The Lawbringer is a Nerf blaster released in August 2015 under the Doomlands 2169 series. It is a 12-dart, hammer-action Nerf rifle. This model was sold for around USD $34.99. In the United States, the Lawbringer was sold only at Target. In Canada, it was only sold at Walmart; in the United Kingdom, it was sold exclusively at Argos. Nerf and all related properties are trademarks of Hasbro, Inc., an American conglomerate and producer of toys, board games, and media assets.
The Lawbringer can hold up to twelve Doomslands darts in its integrated cylinder and features a hammer-action priming mechanism. The toy includes two tactical rails in tandem on the top of the blaster. Similar to other Doomsland blasters, the Lawbringer includes clear plastic parts that show the firing mechanisms of the blaster. Its muzzle is particularly wide, which reduces the chance of unnecessary friction from the exiting dart. The blaster includes only a single-fire mode.
The Lawbringer features a mainly gold-colored body with orange and black accents. The name “NERF” is printed in black capital letters with a semi-circle around the last portion of the word. The name “LAWBRINGER” is printed in capital letters on the blaster’s frame above its rotating cylinder. The name “DOOMLANDS” is printed in black capital letters on the front portion of the blaster.
