Background
Speakers do not consist of very many components. They will all commonly contain the physical speakers, a battery, a motherboard, and touch sensors. The device uses Bluetooth technology to connect to audio devices. The estimated battery life of the device ranges from 4 to 6 hours.
Identification
The JBL Flip is a cylindrical Bluetooth speaker that is black with silver accents. It was also available in a variety of colors, including purple, white, red, pink, and green.
To differentiate the original Flip from the Flip 2, note that the Flip 2 uses a micro-USB charging port, while the original Flip uses a proprietary two-pin barrel connector compatible with an AC adapter. The original Flip is also narrower and longer than the Flip 2.
The JBL logo is printed on the front speaker grille and on the ends of the speaker. The model and serial numbers are printed on the bottom of the device.
