Blink Smart Security has introduced up to 7 different devices as of 2026. The company responded to a high customer demand for a more reliable system and introduced the Blink Outdoor 4. It is the fourth generation Blink device model. It was created to provide an upgraded, more reliable and intelligent security system. The Blink Outdoor 4 is highly popular with 60% of Blink customers using the device. This model has reduced false alerts and added a “human detection” feature. The Blink Outdoor 4 was designed to be extremely straightforward and wire free, unlike some of the other Blink models. The Blink devices are designed to perform together by connecting to the same Sync Module and Home Monitoring App.

The Blink Outdoor 4 is a camera with high tech features such as enhanced motions detection, improved low-light performance, and 1080p video. The camera records motion triggered clips up to 60 seconds with a retrigger time as little as 10 seconds. This device has a user-friendly app called Blink Home Monitoring, that allows for an easy monitoring process. It has two way audio and noise cancellation features. The device offers a wider field of vision with a field view of 143° and offers improved image quality. The Blink Outdoor 4 works hand and hand with Amazon’s Alexa system. Users can connect to an Alexa enabled device to engage multi-camera live view, as well as arming and disarming your system with voice activation. The Blink Outdoor 4 is an active product on the Blink website with millions of Blink cameras already being sold nationwide. Blink products can be purchased from Amazon, Best Buy, Kohl’s, Target and more. The device typically sells for $69.99 while kits that include two cameras and a sync module range from $180-$199. Despite its affordable price, the Blink Outdoor 4 has reported a few common complaints. Some issues include motion detection lag, connectivity issues, and false triggers.

The Blink Outdoor 4 weighs 5.0 ounces, including the two AA batteries. Additional accessories sold separately like a battery extension pack could add around 2 ounces. The box includes one or more Outdoor 4 cameras, a sync module for WiFi connection, 2 AA batteries, a USB-C cable, mounting kits, a power adapter, and a user manual.
