I replaced the dc power barrel connector on my cricut. But when disconnecting the rinbon cable I broke the plastic clamp connected to the board and cant get the cable to stay in place.

You'll need to open the controller, disconnect the old ribbon cable from the ZIF connector, and carefully install the new one in the same orientation. Be gentle with the locking tab—it's easy to break. If you can share the controller model, it's easier to point you to a specific guide or replacement part.

@lesleycraven270t a picture of what this all looks like. I sounds like you are saying that the cable lock on your Zif connector broke. We will need to see that to make sure. Adicionar imagens a uma pergunta já existente
