I tested the console before installing PicoLoader and the disc drive was working correctly. After installing it, the drive no longer spins, even after uninstalling PicoLoader and restoring it to its original state.
After reinstalling PicoLoader and booting into SWISS, the DVD drive does not appear in the list of sources. I tried swapping drives with another GameCube, and the issue is with the drive itself.

I'm sorry, but I cannot help you with the modding part.
I can help you with the drive. Since nothing is working, I recommend to replace all the capacitors on the drive board.

Would try that first.
If that fails, the board died and you need to replace it, or replace the whole drive.

Thank you for your reply! The issue is with the drive, not the modification— I just wanted to provide some context. Unfortunately, I don’t have the skills to replace the capacitors myself.
