What year is your Explorer, and is it 2WD or 4WD? That will usually affect how the rear brakes are accessed.
By "do the brakes", I assume you mean replacing the brake pads? Are you wanting to flush the brake system with new fluid too? Is there anything else you consider to be part of doing the brakes that I haven't mentioned?
