Charging Suddenly Stopped Working Properly

Charged normal weeks and hours prior to the problem happening. Got home and had to charge it again, plugged it in using the official 33W charger + cable and it frantically detected and undetected the charger (Charge - stop - charge - stop)

I've used other xiaomi chargers at home along with different combinations but the same result. Though it is sometimes able to charge very slowly if I plug the charger in just enough for it to detect it. Recently, a samsung + anker C to C charger combination worked. However, it seems to be starting to have problems as well.

Should I take get a quote for a repair? I suspect charging port or charging board damage. Phone has been near water, though never around the charging port area (always at the top and only on case) and I have already cleaned it as well. Has only been one year and a few months since I got the phone (August of 2024) so I am really surprised to have this issue happen. Don't have the budget right now for expensive options such as replacements (only around 20 bucks)
