@greg84601 your bed is a Stryker FL28C?IF so check the maintenance manual from this page Stryker FL28C Check the brake starting around page 49 in the maintenance manual and use the parts list to see how the brake rod applies etc. Sounds like there maybe to much play in the rod to actually lock the wheel and it's just the activation lever that locks.
